My husband Andy and I have recently moved to Whanganui to be closer to our families.

We have 3 adult children and 4 beautiful grandchildren.

I started off as a Playcentre Mum and decided that I enjoyed working alongside young children. I went on to gaining my Playcentre Supervisor certificate and continued on to completing my Diploma in Teaching (ECE).

I feel very strongly about the free play philosophy as this allows children to enjoy doing what they choose to do and gaining life long skills such as creativity, imagination, social development , physical, emotional, cognitive  language skills and so much more .

As a teacher I believe it is important to  build up a positive and caring relationship with all children  to support them on their learning journey in their early years .

In my spare time I enjoy time with family and friends, reading and walking.
