Kia ora. While I was born in Scotland, I settled in NZ with my Kiwi husband and our two boys over a decade ago. As I brought up my own children and worked with other children through a variety of voluntary roles, I decided to step out of my role as a Social Worker, in order to pursue my passion of supporting and educating children. I have worked within the NZ education sector for the last seven years.

My dream of becoming an ECE Teacher became a reality at the end of 2019, as I completed on-line learning through The University of Waikato. I love to support the social and emotional development of children, as this will help to prepare them for life-long relationship building and communication.

In my free time, I love to read historical and crime fiction, as well as spending lots of time with my family playing board games, enjoying rock music and cycling.
